EP Acrylic

EP – ACRYLIC is a specialized and custom designed coating which has been developed to meet constantly changing industry needs and growing public concerns.

EP – ACRYLIC is a high performance acrylic-based coating with all the advantages of acrylic urethane that was developed for the automotive and furniture industry with one exception. It contains NO ISOCYANATES ! This means it is safe for use in homes, around food and people as well as in professional business and doctor’s offices.

EP – ACRYLIC is a high solid acrylic-based multi purpose coating system. This high performance two-component, ambient-cured system (developed without isocyanates) cures by the reaction of a carboxyl with poxide.

EP-ACRYLIC coating systems are to be used wherever exposure to a wide variety of elements is anticipated and whenever marring or scratching is a problem or continued endurance must be expected over an extended period of time.

The appearance, exceptional adhesion, low curing time, and temperature resistance of this system is suitable to metal, concrete, polyester fiberglass, structural foams, porcelain, ceramic tile, nylon, wood and many plastics.

The EP-ACRYLIC system has been found to be superior to epoxies and acrylic urethane re-surfacing systems.

We DO NOT USE epoxy enamel even though it is much cheaper, because it does not stand the test of time.

WE DO NOT USE polyurethanes because lab tests have proven that these products, with repeated exposures, are extremely detrimental to people’s health.
